I felt uninspired in Art Club today. So I drew a rose from an arrangement of stuff someone was using for a still life. And I looked at it and thought, "You know what this needs? A skull!" Since my Art Teacher has this huge collection of plastic skulls for drawing (I'll never forget the day he got them - I walked into Art Club and they were all just scattered on the table and everyone was like WTF Mr. Paine are you trying to scare us or something and he was like maaaybe), I borrowed one and drew it behind the rose. And hence I got this. Not bad for a piece that only took about a half hour, hmm? |
